Happy Weeks of Welcome! Join us for Night at the Museum, a free event open to both College of Charleston students and the public! Spend an evening exploring the museum after hours while enjoying free snacks, including freshly popped popcorn from our popcorn machine.

We will be screening Night at the Museum (rated PG) in the museum courtyard (weather permitting, will be moved inside for bad weather), with the movie beginning at 6:30 PM.

Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket, lawn chair and friends to enjoy the movie under the evening sky.

The event will feature glow sticks, fun games, cool minerals, scavenger hunts and opportunities to explore the museum exhibits. Guests can also interact with tabling groups such as Geology Club members and College of Charleston geology professors.

Museum volunteers will be available throughout the evening to identify rock and fossil specimens, so feel free to bring your own discoveries from home for identification. Whether you're a museum enthusiast, movie lover or a student looking for something fun to do, there's something for everyone at Night at the Museum!
