Calling all College of Charleston alumni, employees, students and friends: Come enjoy food, fun swag and great basketball as the women’s basketball team takes on Northeastern University! The team will be celebrating a variety of different individuals and groups throughout the game. For example, in commemoration of the 160th anniversary of the Avery Normal Institute, the players will be wearing patches on their uniforms, the coaching staff will wear pins and Avery T-shirts will be tossed out to fans. In addition, an ensemble of faculty and staff will sing “Lift Every Voice and Sing” before tipoff. Faculty and staff who are interested in singing may email oid@cofc.edu. There is no admission fee to the game.
