The Department of History's sixth annual Black History Month Lecture, titled, "Requiem for Reconstruction: Black Countermemory and the Legacy of the Lowcountry’s Lost Political Generation," will be presented by Robert Bland, assistant professor of history and Africana studies at the University of Tennessee.
