Freya Owen will present "On a Knife Edge: Serious Youth Violence in the United Kingdom." Owen is a Roosevelt Scholar studying youth violence. She will present research contrasting the United Kingdom and United States of America when approaching the issue of serious violence. She will explore how violence shapes our communities and what are the risk factors that lead to youth violence. Owen will promote the public health approach to preventing violence.
