Family, friends and alumni gather to celebrate the life of longtime studio art faculty member and acclaimed artist Cliff Peacock. During his 33 years of teaching at the College of Charleston, Peacock inspired countless painting and drawing students. He was an extraordinarily gifted artist, having received many prestigious awards during his career, including four NEA grants, the Tiffany Award, S.C. Arts Commission, Gottlieb Guggenheim and Rome Prize individual fellowships. He possessed a singular, creative vision and intellect, a wry sense of humor, and an unwavering dedication to his wife and faculty member, Barbara Duval, his students, and his beloved canine companions. Join us in celebrating Peacock's life and creative work. Reception to follow.
