DESCRIPTION:This session is considered our "700-Mile program."\n\n \n\nIf y
 ou live 700 miles or more from Charleston\, you are welcome to attend any 
 of the June or July freshman orientations\, but you are eligible to attend
  an orientation session on August 13 and 14\, which is designed especially
  for you. There are a limited number of seats available that we will reser
 ve on a first-come\, first-served basis. \n\n \n\nFreshman students attend
 ing the orientation session on August 13 and 14 will have a required virtu
 al advising and registration session on July 22. If you are not able to at
 tend this virtual session\, a partial fall semester schedule will be creat
 ed for you\, and you can complete your course registration when you attend
  an in-person advising and registration session during orientation.\n\nBec
 ause we cannot accommodate all students who live 700 miles or more from th
 e campus in this one session\, we encourage you to attend an earlier orien
 tation session if you possibly can.\n\nIf you are participating in sororit
 y recruitment or Cougar Excursion\, you will not be able to attend the Aug
 ust 13 and 14 session.
