Convocation is an annual gathering where students and faculty come together to celebrate the start of the academic year. New students will be welcomed to the Cistern by faculty, staff and current students. This is an exciting time for everyone on campus!

Beginning at 9:30 a.m., faculty, staff and current students are invited to line George Street and the Cistern Yard sidewalk to welcome new students as they enter through Porter's Lodge. Students will be led by their R.A.s and student leaders. 

You'll hear from the SGA president, Provost Austin and President Hsu. 

You'll learn the alma mater. 

There will by hype music, cheers and giveaways. 

This is one celebration you don't want to miss! 

Following the ceremony, students will engage in team building and ice breaker activities led by student leaders. You're also invited to have lunch in the campus dining facilities.

Maroon Mayhem begins at 3 p.m. in the Cistern Yard.
