First premiering in 1975, A Chorus Line is celebrating its 50th anniversary! It was conceived by Michael Bennett; the book is by James Kirkwood and Nicholas Dante; the music is by Marvin Hamlisch; and the lyrics are by Edward Kleban.

On an empty stage, 17 performers are put through their paces in the final, gruelling audition for a new Broadway musical. Only eight will make the cut. Ambition, talent and passion take center stage in this Pulitzer Prize-winning show-business classic for anyone who’s ever had a dream and put it all on the line.
