Calling all future chemists and biochemists! Are you interested in getting involved in research while a student at the College of Charleston? From the developing new materials, improving water quality, unraveling the chemistry of life, and discovering new and better ways to make medicines, you will find an incredible breadth of work being done by your own CofC professors and fellow students right here in the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry. And the best part? Finding out about how YOU can be a part of it! Following a brief information session to learn about how undergraduate research can benefit your career aspirations as well as tips about how to get started, you will have a chance to tour our research labs and meet our faculty and current research students to learn more about their ongoing projects. This will be followed with ice cream (made with liquid nitrogen, of course!) when you can continue to chat with students and faculty.
