The Center for Sustainable Development offers a 3-gallon recycling bin to check-out if you live in campus housing. 

Keep an eye out for the Blue Bin Brigade! We’ll have a table set up with bins, loan agreements, and recycling info. at chosen residence halls near the beginning of every semester. 

For the Spring 2026 semester, we will be checking out & distributing bins:

• Wednesday, January 14, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm: Berry and McConnell Residence Halls

• Thursday, January 15, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm: Liberty and Buist/Rutledge Residence Halls

Bins are checked out for the academic year and must be returned to the Center for Sustainable Development before you move out. 

The 3-gallon bin should only be used to collect recyclables within your room/suite. Please note that you're still responsible for using your blue bin to carry recyclables to the central recycling location on your Residence Hall floor.
